Nossa
16.11
02.12
Ela teve paralisia novamente que dura ate hoje
11.12
Teve a primeira convulsão. Foi medicada com Dexa citoneurin. As
convulsões se davam a cada 20 minutos,
12.12
16.12
voltou para casa. Medicada com flotryl e rimadyl. Alimentada a
cada 2 horas. Fisioterapia com água morna. Ajuda para urinar e
para defecar.
30.12
convulsionou uma vez e parou. Visita ao veterinário , engordou
130 gramas. Medicada com Petprazol e Keflex.
04.01
continuam.
06.01
Nova visita ao veterinário. Fizemos Raio X da coluna vertebral,
cervical e lombar e hemograma. Foi constada diminuição dos espaços
vertebrais e desgaste ósseo. Pouca possibilidade de
voltar a andar. Medicada novamente com Rimadyl alem do Petprazol
e Keflex. Voltou a convulsionar as 20:30 , as 00:50 e a 1:10.
Demos valium em casa.
07.01
ate as 14:30 não voltou a convulsionar. Comeu bem (1 latinha de
A/D por dia) e fez as necessidades. Já com 660 gramas. O
hemograma mostrou apenas anemia. Em

Our
Raja got sick first in May 2003 when we still were living in
Switzerland and she went through different examinations at the
veterinary institute of the local university. End of June we
arrived in Brazil where giardia was detected in Raja. She also
got her gland infected, got bladder stones and even a
intervertebral disease.
12.10:
Raja shows the first paralization of her hind legs. After a
medication with Citoneurin she started walking normally again.
16.11:
She started again to weaken her hind legs and to lose her
ballance. Thus she was taken on Citoneurin again.
19.11:
A surgery was necessary to remove a skin tumor on Raja´s back.
2.12:
The paralization of Raja´s hind legs started again and has not
disappeared til today (7.1.04)
11.12:
She had her first seizure and was put on Dexa Citoneurin. Anyway
the seizures (with screaming) appeared now every 20 minutes.
12.12:
Raja has been taken to the vet Intensive Treatement Station with hipothermia, seizures,
anemia, only 430g of weight (her normal is 600-700) and nearly
in coma. She was hospitalized for 4 days and was put on valium
and infusion in her femur. Every 90 minutes she had to be
fed.
16.12:
We brought her back home and put her onBaytril and Rimadyl,
feeding her every 2 hours. As shown in the picture we also
started to make physiotherapy in warm water with her.
Additionally she has to get help to urinate and defecate.
30.12:
The only seizure within 3 weeks appeared during a vet
examination . In the meantime she got more or
less 130g more of weight. We started medication with Petprazol
and Keflex.
4.1:
The seizures came back with an interval of 2 hours (without
screaming). We gave her valium at home to calm her down.
5.1:
Unfortunatly in spite of the valium the seizures continued.
6.1:
We visited the vet again, took an x-ray of
her whole spine and made a bloodtest. Was detected a serious
spinal bone degeneration . The vet doesn´t
give much hope, that Raja will ever walk again normally. The
medication with Rimady, Petprazol and Keflex has to
go on. The
seizures came back the same night at 20:30, 0:50 and 1:10. With
0.5mg of valium she calmed down again.
Nowadays
Raja gets 2-3 seizures per day (05-15 seconds, without screaming).
She eats very well (1 can of A/D per day) and got back her old
weight of about 700g and tries to walk again (she starts feeling
her hind legs ). The blood works showed only anemia. |
